Is This a Good Time ot Buy or Sell an RV?
Motor homes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, pop up campers and truck
campers are selling somewhat slower this year than they did last
year, but that does not automatically mean the prices must be lower.
If some models are in over supply on the market, then those models
will see a decrease in price. Also, if a seller becomes impatient
waiting for a buyer to come along, he may lower his price to speed
things along.
You may wonder if you should sell before the market gets worse,
but generally things are not as bad as the media portray, they need
something to write about, as always.
If you are using and enjoying your motorhome, then by all means,
keep it another year. But if you realize that you will not be getting
much use out of it, then start getting ready to sell, but don't
get in a rush, take good photos and place your ads.
The cost of diesel may cause you to take shorter trips, or fewer
trips, but if traveling is one of your rewards in life, there is
no reason to stop altogether.
We are in a "buyers market" right now, which means there
are more sellers than buyers, so you should be able to find some
good bargains if you do your research and don't get in a hurry.
